Founder/Owner of Tri County Realty

Brief Biography:

Kenneth BerglundKenneth Berglund, owner and founder of Tri County Realty, was born and raised in Bemidji Minnesota.

In 1956, Kenneth moved to Littlerock, CA and graduated from Antelope Valley High School in 1957.

Soon after graduating from Antelope Valley High School, Kenneth met and married his wife Gaylyn Grayson, a graduate of Palmdale High School. They are celebrating 52 years of marriage together. 


Kenneth served as a Firefighter at station 33 in Lancaster
from 1963-68.

Kenneth and Gaylyn built, owned and operated many
successful businesses in and around the
Antelope Valley, including:

     - GULF Service Station in Littlerock, CA 1959
     - Lake Los Angeles Market 1981
     - Saddleback True Value Hardware 1983
     - Saddleback Shopping Center 1986
     - Saddleback Market 1986
     - Saddleback Plaza 1992
     - Village Market 1994
     - Sweetwater Farms 1995

INTERESTING SIDE NOTE: While working at the GULF Service Station, Ken met and befriended a little known astronaut named Neil Armstrong.  Mr. Armstrong stopped by the station in Littlerock between his home and Edward's Air Force Base where he worked.  Mr. Armstrong often needed a ride when his car was broke down or out of gas and Ken was always happy to help.  Years after his historic First Man On The Moon Mission, Gaylyn wrote to Neil and asked for an autograph for Ken's birthday.  Hence the photo and the memory.




Established his real estate career in 1965 and opened Tri County Realty in 1970.
